Which language should I learn to work abroad from Sri Lanka?
The best language depends on your target country. Japanese (JLPT N4 or N3) is required for Japan work programmes. Korean (EPS-TOPIK) is needed for the Korea Employment Permit System. German (minimum B1) is required for most Germany work visas. Arabic is beneficial for Middle Eastern employment. Our advisors can help you choose based on your personal goals.
How long does it take to learn Japanese for work in Japan?
Starting from zero, most dedicated students at Dhananja achieve JLPT N4 readiness in approximately 6 to 9 months with consistent attendance. Reaching N3 level from scratch typically takes 10 to 14 months. The JLPT exam is held twice yearly in Sri Lanka — in July and December.
How long does EPS-TOPIK preparation take for South Korea?
Students with no prior Korean knowledge typically need 3 to 5 months of focused preparation to achieve a passing EPS-TOPIK score. Dhananja’s dedicated EPS-TOPIK preparation programme is designed specifically for this exam timeline and tested exam strategy.
Can I study in Germany for free as a Sri Lankan student?
Yes. Most German public universities charge no tuition fees for undergraduate programmes — including for international students from Sri Lanka. You will need to cover living expenses (approximately EUR 850–1,000 per month) and demonstrate a blocked account of approximately EUR 11,208 for the student visa application. Dhananja guides you through the entire process.
What documents do I need for overseas employment?
Typical requirements include: valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), National Identity Card, educational and vocational certificates, police clearance certificate, medical fitness certificate, and language proficiency certificate. Specific requirements vary by country. Dhananja provides a complete, personalized document checklist for your specific pathway.
Can Dhananja guarantee my visa will be approved?
No visa consultancy can legally guarantee approval — decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy. What Dhananja guarantees is a thoroughly prepared, properly documented application, genuine assessment of your eligibility, and expert guidance throughout. Our outstanding visa success rate reflects this commitment to quality preparation.
Is the initial consultation at Dhananja free?
Yes. Your initial consultation with a Dhananja advisor is completely free and carries absolutely no obligation. We believe everyone deserves honest, clear guidance before committing to any process or making any financial decision about their overseas journey.
